With Phil eying down Tiger’s world number one, he collapsed to shoot 78 in the final Round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Tiger, after shooting 77 on Sunday to finish 18 over par and in second to last place, will go into next week’s PGA Championship even more frustrated than Phil. Will either of them come out on top at Whistling Straits? I personally don’t think so.

Despite a Yankees loss and a Tampa Bay win, New York holds on to a small .5 game lead over Tampa Bay. The Yankees will play today against the Red Sox and the Rays will play Toronto today.
After a long break, we are back in business. As you know, we do all sports on this blog and I hope that you will continue to follow us. Sorry for the long wait.

First of all, Alabama knocked off Texas on Thursday night to win the BCS National Championship Game. Some people have questioned rather it was a good win because McCoy was knocked out so early in the game. I personally think that Alabama did what they had to do and that it really wouldn’t have mattered if McCoy was in the game.
Second, the four NFL Wildcard Playoff games will be played this weekend. With one just about over, the Jets lead the Bengals 24-14 with less than 4 minutes lest. It appears that New York will win that game and go on to play Indianapolis in the Divisional Round. Later tonight, the Cowboys will face the Eagles. Tomorrow, the Ravens will face the Patriots and the Packers will face the Cardinals. My prediction for the playoffs is below.
Here is a look at my prediction for the Wildcard:
Green=Correct Red=Incorrect
Jets vs. Bengals=Jets
Patriots vs. Ravens=Ravens
Cardinals vs. Packers=Packers
Cowboys vs. Eagles=Eagles
Now for the Divisional Round:
Jets vs. Colts=Colts
Ravens vs. Chargers=Chargers
Packers vs. Saints=Saints
Eagles vs. Vikings=Eagles
Now Conference Championships:
Colts vs. Chargers=Chargers
Saints vs. Eagles=Saints
Now Super Bowl:
Chargers vs. Saints=Chargers
Let’s hear yours JT.
JT Edit: K!

It will be a game to remember as the two best regular season records combine in a great showdown. This one will be a great game! But AFC will win yet again!
Saints vs. Colts= Colts
Colt McCoy injured his shoulder early in the first quarter. With their backup in, Alabama needs to take advantage. Alabama leads mid-second quarter 14-6.

JT Edit:
Coly McCoy was injured when he was hit in the back of the shoulder by the defensive linemen. Look at the picture above for the exact spot.
Now his x-rays were negative, but take a look at this x-ray:
Otherwise, known as the shoulder blade, in the back part of the upper body. Here is a pic of what I am talking about:
And yes, that is a picture of my back!

JT wins the predition. He was 1 point from Bama and John was 23. He also was closest to Texas with 5 and John was 11. Overall, JT won!!
Tonight, the BCS National championship will take place in Pasadena, California. Alabama and Texas will face off for the biggest crown in all of college football. I think it will be very low scoring and I think whoever has the ball last will win the game. In this case, I think it will be Alabama that wins the game. My prediction for the game is below:
I think that Alabama will intercept a pass from Colt McCoy intended for Jordan Shipley with about four minutes left in the game. They will have the ball on their own 45 yard line. They will power the ball down the field with Mark Ingram and win the ball game. They will be trailing 10-7 before scoring on this drive. They will make the clutch extra point with 1:12 left in the game. Texas will be unable to move the ball on their next drive and Alabama will win 14-10.
JT, let’s hear your prediction.
JT: Ok then, mine is be-low!
Yo! I got the Tide winnin this game yall! Easy as pie, slicin it up! Bama will dominate this game in a 38-17 win! Remember the domination of da Tide vs. Flo-Rida is the SEC Championship game and the crappy show of the Texas offense in the Big 12 Champion-a-ship against Nebraska winnin by a field goal. The tide will keep that momentum of the dream-a season! Texas will try to be big, but Bama will cover Shipley, there bigga receiver and not have any x-plosive O. Roll Tide Roll!

Tonight at 8 PM EST, the FedEx Orange Bowl will be taking place in Miami. #9 Georgia Tech and #10 Iowa face off tonight for the crown. Georgia Tech’s option offense and Iowa’s good defense should make this a good game. My prediction is:
Georgia Tech-34, Iowa-28
I think GT’s explosive offense will eventually overpower Iowa by the end of the game. I’ll check back in tomorrow to update today’s scores and talk about the BCS National Championship game on Thursday.
John
JT Edit: My prediction for the game will be:
Georgia Tech:-17 Iowa-21
I think it will be a close game until about 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter with the score GT-17 Iowa-14. Iowa will get the ball from a GT punt and GT will think that they will give up and take a field goal once Iowa will get into field goal range for the tie of the game! Then, QB Ricky Stanzi will hand it off to RB Brandon Wegher for a TD of more than 10 yards! And the Hawkeyes will hold the Yellow Jackets for the rest of the game!
